I remember asking Stuat one night if he was managing and he said "barely!" That became one of our many running jokes. We had many a great road trips. I remember one in particular to a baseball gamein Houston and thats all I'm going to say Him Mitch Spielberg and Dave Vairain and I would go fishing after closing up sometimes. And then the legendary Haverty parties. And staying up all night drinking and talking because we had a staff meeting the next morning and didn't want to miss it. Love you Stuart and see ua on the other side ❤ Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08750784820957081320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8241445666161004335.post-25514140190302510202019-12-30T12:52:07.805-06:002019-12-30T12:52:07.805-06:00I am so sorry to see this about Stuart. I last saw him in 2016 at my sister's funeral and he was in poor health. Our adventures were too numerous to talk about but one does come to mind after reading the one you posted Pat - we threw a surprise birthday party for Stuart and several of us made sure he knew to show up at the place where we were having the surprise party and SURPRISE!....Stuart never showed up!! I am left with lots of good memories of Stuart. He was a good friend through the years and I wish we could have stayed close. So sad. Rest In Peace My Friend

Bert RobinsonBert Robinsonnoreply@blogger.com
