It's like some sick OCD thing. A few years ago, I was forced to get rid of many of my books and I still keep a list of the ones I got rid of and buy them back when I see them cheap somewhere. Sad, I know, but even thinking about it makes me depressed. How language changes is parallel to history and to thought... which is history in a way.<br /><br />Popular novels (Cornwell, etc.) are of little value. Bye bye... <br /><br />Any book that challenges the way I think, I will keep. These are the books I share with my family, which usually means buying another copy for myself.<br /><br />Albion's Seed, From Dawn to Decadence, The True Believer, The Rape of Nanking, and... many others. <br /><br />Please, if you are inclined to rid yourself of old dictionaries and encyclopedias... email me.
