I am a carnivore; I love a good, rare steak. And I don't care WHAT the global warming fanatics at the U.N. think, I'm going to continue to eat my steaks, cheeseburgers, and rare, rump roasts.
According to statistics from the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization, I, as an average person in the industrialized world, eat 176 pounds of meat annually. But according to the FAO, I am killing the planet because cows pass methane gas. And because ranchers have to kill trees to make pastures for cows. Who pass methane gas.
It seems to me if all those cows are killing the planet, then I should eat them. Bad cows.

that made me laugh out loud. :)
ReplyDeletemmm....put some pig on my cow - nothing like a bacon cheeseburger!! ;)
Nene,
ReplyDeleteOK, you want some pig on you burger, but cheese? Come on.
Unless you want goat cheese, which I doubt, and I know you don't want imitation cheese. So that leaves you with one other choice, cheese made from the milk of dairy cows.
And dairy cows produce methane gas, too. OH What a vicious cycle!
P.S. there is a type of cheddar cheese that Ruby Tuesday's puts on one of there burgers. OMG! It is delicious.
The next time you, Alex and Mike comes to Shreveport. Let's go out and do some cattle population control.
we went to kenny's tonight for supper. he made chili w/ dork. "dork?" i asked. "it's a deer and pork mix." he replied. kenny said someone gave him some dork meat which is ground deer and ground pork. the person who gave him the dork said he always buys a pig to process w/ his deer so it doesn't have that "wild" taste. guess that doesn't have much to do w/ cows so i should delete my comment.
ReplyDeletewhenever a topic like this comes up, i want to reply that god knew what he was doing when he made cows and how they got rid of their waste products.
Global Warming ?, no such thing, unless the UN is speaking of the dailing warming and cooling cycle of the Sun. next time you encounter a Global Warmist" ask them what they really know about our atmosphere, ask them how much CO2 is in our Atmosphere, ask them if they have any clue that gas only occupies 383 parts per million
ReplyDeleteand since 1700, 183 years bebore Krakatoa Erupted it's increased approx 100 parts per million, and ask if they know, between 1700-and 1900 it rose about 20 ppm bebore the intenal combustin engine was invented, the UN "Scientist" they toss out, have NO Meteorological background, most are in unrelated fields and have nothing to offer but anh Agenda, that Agenda is to do all they can to het the UN to have the ability to impose a TAX on Carbon, once the UN has that Tax, and it has a steady income, the UN will then begin building the Army it's long desired, and then you'll see the "real" New world Order begin, if we (The US) allow ourselves to be fooled into thinking this carbon Tax is going to help the planet, we are insane, if we think that China, and India will contribute to this carbon Tax, think again, they will insist as they have they are a developing country and shouldnt have to pay, that the US has done all the damage, ...anyone see the Polution from the recent Olympics ?, having lived in many cities in China I can assure you that China has the Money, and all else it needs to fix their own country, yet they and India will use the UN to punish the US. if that happens, plan on getting a new job because most Carbon Taxes will destroy most companies, especially like trucking, airlines, and other transportation related business..
I'm with you Oklahoma guy; I think it's all cyclical and that Algore is a blowhard. But do recycle now that the City is giving me a pretty blue bin to do it in and then they come pick it up. :)
