This little Victorian house is for sale in Iowa. If I won the lottery, I'd buy it ($58,900), build a wrap around porch on the front of it, paint it, plant a wild cottage garden, add a bathroom upstairs, and have a perfect summer getaway.
I can't live there in the winter. It gets cold in Iowa.
i went w/ a friend to look at a house offered by the same realty company offering this victorian. i asked the realtor about the victorian and she said it was completely gutted, new plumbing, wiring, roof, appliances, fixtures and remodeled while keeping the historical period in mind. victorian w/ modern amenities!
