The Great Debate

I didn't get to watch the Reid/Angle debate last night, but from most accounts she cleaned his clock.  Did you watch?  What did you think?

Oh what joy to be able to show Harry the door in November!  Oh I hope, I hope, I hope!

  1. Angle is not a polished candidate. I am sure that her heart is in the right place, but she's a lot like the mom from down the street. Which isn't to say that she won't make a great senator from Nevada. She's simply not great at debate.

Reid comes off as an old, corrupt, wizened, nasty weasel, with a lot to hide. He's been a career politician and sounds like it during a debate.

Reid has been one of the most powerful people in America - and Angle is winning and I think that she was the more compelling in the debate. I know he's smarting at the thought that mom from down the street is kicking his ass.

  2. I didn't watch the debate either.

One thing for certain, no matter how you say Reid has all these corrupt connections, she is getting more money in her pot than he is. I wonder who is working at buying her?

  3. Yes, it's ok for some weasely senator to be corrupt through several questionable land deals and the use of federal earmarks to build a bridge between Nevada and Arizona to increase the value of personally owned property.

But heaven forbid his opponent so happens to get more dollars in donations.

Harry Reid, Nasty Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Mary Landrieu, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Tom Harkin, Charlie Rangel,....
should be poster children as to why incumbents need to be removed from office.

  4. Heven forbid you end up with a new senator who is easily purchased. And on top of that is not able to represent her citizen voting constituents because her obligation is elsewhere.

  5. Hell, Harry Reid is already bought and paid for thousands of time over, just like Mary Landrieu and every other liberal (Democrat and Republican).

Since it's the Democrat way to cast allegations and demand proof to prove otherwise (ala David Axelrod), do you have proof Angle is being purchased by groups? Despite the the way Democrats are now doing it, the burden of proof is the obligation of the accuser not the defender.

My statements about Reid and questionable land deals are well documented.
