Best husband award of the year goes to Mr. SIGIS! While many people get cards and flowers for Valentines day, I got a card and a CAR! Well, a Jeep, actually. A 2012 Wrangler in deep cherry red, rag top. Since I'm driving a 1992 Crown Vic, this is really exciting!
Yay!
Sweet! Have fun driving it!
ReplyDeleteyay!
ReplyDeleteCongrats. I hope that my wife doesn't read your blog because she will expect more than she got this year.
ReplyDeleteYou better hang onto that hubby! Congrats.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!
ReplyDeleteQuestion to Mr. ASIGIS...
ReplyDeleteWill you marry me?
Wonderful! What a great gift!
ReplyDeleteI have a red Jeep (a 2001 Cherokee) and it's my favorite car of all the cars I've ever had. About a month after we got it, I told Paul "Don't plan on ever buying another car for me: we'll just put a new engine in this one when the time comes!" 10 years later, I still feel the same.
Hope you enjoy yours as much! :-)
Andy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind proposition but my response is, ala Mongo on Blazing Saddles, "Ah sucks, Mr. SIGIS straight!"
Sigh...
ReplyDeleteBut, will you buy me a Jeep anyway?
Andy,
ReplyDeleteSorry, I can't right now, but Mrs. SIGIS and I will think about you every now and then when we're taking it out for a drive.
Well good on you Pat. Happy Valentine's Day and Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI cannot see a red Jeep without thinking of an anecdote from a novel by John D. MacDonald. A Mexican guy was trying to tell him something and he was not getting it.
ReplyDelete"Heapdirow?" he kept womdering, "What the hell is a heapdirow?"
Finally in dawned on him. With the Mexican pronunciation of "J" as an "H" the guy was talking about a "Jeep de rojo" and was saying that he had seen a red Jeep. Ever since then I have had a fondness for the Heapdirow.
Enjoy! Very nice.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least there's that...
