Oooops!

Well now this would be funny if it wasn't so damn sad:

In a new report, the Congressional Research Service says the law may have significant unintended consequences for the “personal health insurance coverage” of senators, representatives and their staff members.
For example, it says, the law may “remove members of Congress and Congressional staff” from their current coverage, in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, before any alternatives are available.
That's from The New York Times.  Read the rest.

Yes, Congress indeed had to pass the bill to find out what's in it, which means they voted themselves right into Obamacare.

Allahpundit:

In other words, theoretically the law kicks them out of the federal health plan now in order to force them to join insurance exchanges … that don’t exist yet. Looking forward to tomorrow, when we’re inevitably told that they meant to do that.

The spin will be fun to watch - no question about it.  God only knows what else is in there we don't know about yet.

I'd laugh, but it hurts too much.
