At Least There Are No $16 Muffins Involved

We all know that ObamaCare is awash in new regulations and bureaucracies.  Here is just one more:

Embedded in ObamaCare is a toxic rule called the Physician Payments Sunshine Act. The Act requires all companies that manufacture medical products purchased by the government to disclose on a public website anything they give physicians valued above $10. Last month, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued draft guidelines.
Wonder how many "jobs created" this one covers?

Came across your blog through a link at Bartender Cabbie's place. My favorite grandmother grew up on a plantation near Milliken's Bend LA, and she had that unique Shreveport accent. She was a LSU Tigers fan, worked as dietician for the school's athletic department in the 1930's, and I spent many a Saturday with her watching SEC football.

Her accent was so pronounced that even her parakeet was recognizably from Shreveport when it said, "Patty is a pretty bird."

God's country.
