Full Metal Jacket Reach Around: The Lost Week Edition

I'm a day late with my round-up this week but it's been quite the week ever since my mom decided to fall off the porch last Saturday.  My sister arrived from Dallas on Friday and we've spent the past couple of days getting mom out of the hospital (nothing broken!), back home, and arranging for some help for her.  I've lost track of days, time, and place.  But, hopefully, we'll get back to some semblance of normalcy this week and we can get back to business.  I now have three more weeks of summer vacation, so I better make the best of it!

Let's get to the links because even though I haven't been blogging much this week these people have:

At Legal Insurrection, Professor Jacobson defends Megyn Kelly against a "racism" label because she's covering the New Black Panther voter intimidation story.

Pirate's Cove looks at Obama's speech regarding the oil cap and deems him a narcissist.  Ya think!?  No question, my friend, no question.

Reaganite Republican has his Sunday funnies.

Donald Douglas has photos and a report from an O.C. rally in support of Arizona.

No Sheeples Here spreads the word and shares the work of a fascinating artist.

Cynthia Yockey has found a fiscal conservative in MD she says is a winner and can beat Barbara Mikulski; meet Jim Rutledge.

Bride of Rove has a nifty round-up.

Ed Driscoll posts on First Dog, Bo's, travel arrangements.

Doug Ross reports on Hezbollah's operations near the Mexican border.

Wyblog encountered an Impeach Obama group.

Obi's Sister picked up on the ugly Michelle Obama oil spill top.  She didn't like it either.

Ruby Slippers has a great Paul Ryan clip; love him!

Pecan Corner takes us on vacation!  How about some Veldhuizen cheese?  Or a waffle?

Gary is out of town and Elaine is building a fire at Catalog Living!

Pundette reports on a growing push-back on Dr. Donald "Death Panel" Berwick.

Okay, I know it's short but I've got to get moving and get over to mom's to check on things.  I'll be back later today.

Behave!
