"America Is Me" Site Launch

Carol is spreading the news of a new site launch, The 9/12 Mom's Network, and offers this video on her site. Her advice was to "Please watch the video to the end to see the tribute to two special people that helped to define the title" and so I did. You should too. When the credits start, keep watching.

From Carol:

"We should never forget that men first crossed the Atlantic not to find soil for their ploughs but to secure liberty for their souls and [we] must not allow this administration or any other to dismantle the Constitution. It is our turn to defeat the enemy within. Will ours be the first generation to not leave our country better off than we found it for our children?"

Carol has pointed a couple of times to blogger Mary Baker, who is one of the founders of this new site, and I've started reading her site because of Carol. Now I'm reading it because of Mary. She's doing great work; check out her blog for more information on the impetus behind this new project.

Update: Carol's got a Memeorandum thread!

Update 2: Sorry for the typo in the headline that sat up there all day; and thanks to the snarky commenter who pointed it out. Let me refer you to a book that might be helpful to you.
