Crunchy or Smooth?
This all depends on what kind of jelly it was and if it was crunchy or smooth peanut butter Via The Des Moines Register:
Indeed.
Cabin fever or just hungry?
A man was arrested Friday after an angry confrontation with his brother over his eating habits, according to a police report.
The two brothers, in their 50s, live together on Des Moines’ East Side.
The victim told police that his brother, Jerome Davis, “made three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them in the living room. Within the next hour, the suspect made another 3 of these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bringing his total consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to six. This angered the victim…”
The victim confronted Davis about over-eating, which quickly escalated. “Both victim and suspect began yelling about the other being lazy and ‘eating again,’” police reported.
Davis then pulled out a folding knife and held it to the face of his brother, threatening to cut him, according to the report.Best comment from the Des Moines Register site: "Imagine if he had six Steakumm sandwiches."
Indeed.

And the Boxer Pretended to be a Wheelbarrow
If you think your life is stressful and you're feeling overwhelmed with it all, take a moment to check out my friend Julia's blog; she is writing about the misadventures of living in a camper while building a house (among other things), and it is some funny stuff.
Here she writes about her boxer discovering the doggy door:
She is writing for theraputic reasons and probably doesn't care one iota about site hits and stats. She's a gifted writer with a dry sense of humor, though, and covers diverse topics.
Check it out: I Have a Secks List.
Here she writes about her boxer discovering the doggy door:
Elated about having constant access to outside, the maniacs were running to and fro in their fabulous new apartment, sounding like a herd of elephants. Maximus, the boxer, took a little while to acclimate to the doggy door, but he started learning by thrusting one paw through and pulling it back out. Then he'd thrust the other in and pull it back out. Then he'd put both front paws almost straight out in front of him and stare wondering how he was going to keep the fucker open if he moved his front feet. He began to push himself up the ramp with his back paws, taking baby steps with his rigid front arms, and would continue to pretend to be a wheelbarrow until he made it inside.I laughed until I cried reading that. Oh, the visual image...

Dog Goes Cuckoo Over Cuckoo Clock
Years ago when Steve was stationed in Germany he bought this cuckoo clock. It's been in a box in his closet for a long time in a state of disrepair so we took it to a clock shop and had it fixed. He picked it up Saturday and we hung it up today.
The little cuckoo pops out on the hour and half hour and does his thing.
My goofy Lab isn't sure what to think of it all. Every time the cuckoo chirps, the dog stops whatever he is doing and looks at it with curiosity.
"Curiosity killed the cat," they say and it also made the dog lose his treat. Steve had just tossed a dog treat to each of the two dogs and Jazz was just picking his up to eat when the cuckoo popped out. "Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!" Jazz dropped his treat and turned around to stare at the clock. As soon as he did, the Boston Terrier snatched up Jazz's treat and ate it.
I don't think he cared much. He's much to perplexed about this clock and trying to figure out how he's going to get that bird.

Milly Rose Sings "Oh Christmas Tree"
For your viewing pleasure, the lovely Carol at No Sheeples Here has "righted" my sideways Milly Rose video. It's a little blurry and as always, the beginning is chopped off because there you'll be, poking around, looking at the treasures in her shop, and Milly will burst into song. I'm never ready with the camera. At any rate, here she is, and THANKS Carol!

This blog is hilarious. My daughter sent me the link and I've been laughing myself silly. The premise? "A look into the exciting lives of the people who live in your catalogs"
Take a break from politics and have a giggle.

Need a TV?
This is interesting: a woman in Iowa is selling her television sets. Why? "Obama on every channel and station." Ha!
She is keeping her large flat screen TV, presumably in the hopes that the reception will be better in 2012.
