It is a little known fact of life that one cannot sort, purge, and clean one bookshelf in one's house without having to do all of them. Every single shelf in the house. Purge. Sort. Dust. Clean. Re shelve.

Last summer I declared I'd get my books all on shelves, cataloged in a database and shelf sorted by author then title. I got the A's through R's, then I ran out of shelves. I need to get rid of some books but which ones?!
