The City of Byrd

From the KTBS website:

"A group of Byrd High students rented two billboards to encourage school spirit and support their football team.

They bought the billboards at the corner of East Kings and E. 70th street near Lee Hedges stadium where Byrd plays it's home games.

Caddo school board officials say they received a call from Captain Shreve's principal saying she did not like where the billboards were, a block from Captain Shreve. They were taken down Friday morning."

How absurd. How childish, Captain Shreve. Seriously.

What a spoiled brat. They have every right to buy a billboard anywhere they want. She's just pissed she didn't think of it first. All this will do is backfire and cause the Byrd people to show even MORE school spirit. Gosh, what a total B.

Agreed! So cute that they care for school spirit to get the billboards - go them! Cap'n Shreve is just jealous they didn't have the idea first! I've never seen that!

Sounds good on the sweatshirt deal. I just noticed on re-reading that the Times put an apostrophe in "it's" when it should have been "its". How embarrassing.
