Would You Let Someone Call YOU a "Brainwashed Nazi"?

The left wing moonbats are all over Rush Limbaugh today for "insulting an Armed Services veteran" who called into his radio program.

Rush Limbaugh can certainly defend himself, if it were even needed, but if you listen to, or read, the transcript, it appears to be much ado about nothing. I'm not saying Rush didn't call the guy ignorant - he did. But before that happened, the guy called Rush a "brainwashed Nazi."

Here is the initial exchange:

LIMBAUGH: We're going to go to Chicago. This is Charles. Charles, thank you for waiting and for calling. Great to have you here. Hello.

CALLER: Thanks, Rush. Rush, listen, I voted Republican, and I didn't -- really didn't want to see Obama get in office. But, you know, Rush, you're one reason to blame for this election, for the Republicans losing.

First of all, you kept harping about voting for Hillary. The second big issue is the -- was the torture issue. I'm a veteran. We're not supposed to be torturing these people. This is not Nazi Germany, Red China, or North Korea. There's other ways of interrogating people, and you kept harping about it -- "It's OK," or "It's not really torture." And it was just more than waterboarding. Some of these prisoners were killed under torture.

And it just -- it was crazy for you to keep going on and on like Levin and Hannity and Hewitt. It's like you're all brainwashed.

And my last comment is, no matter what Obama does, you will still criticize him because I believe you're brainwashed. You're just -- and I hate to say it -- but I think you're a brainwashed Nazi. Anyone who could believe in torture just has got to be - there's got to be something wrong with them.

So the caller lobs the first shot, so to speak. Is Limbaugh supposed to just sit there and be insulted on his own radio program just because this guy is a veteran? Being a vet gives you an excuse to call someone a "brainwashed Nazi"?

The caller goes on to say how wrong it is to torture people and at the same time continues to call Limbaugh brainwashed - a total of five times during the call. It sounds to me like he was brainwashed by left wing talking points.

Limbaugh lets the caller sputter and insult him for a while before he finally cuts him off with this:

LIMBAUGH: Charles, Barack Obama is president of the United States today because of stupid, ignorant people who think like you do. You pose -- you and your ignorance are the most expensive commodity this country has. You think you know everything. You don't know diddly-squat.

You call me a Nazi? You call me somebody who supports torture and you want credibility on this program? You know, you're just plain embarrassing and ludicrous. But it doesn't surprise me that you're the kind of Republican that our last candidate attracted. Because you're no Republican at all based on what the hell you've said here."

Richard Smith at VetVoice takes his own shot at Rush with his interpretation of the call:

"A Republican caller called to criticize Limbaugh on his positions on torture. Rush was befuddled (VetVoice has been unable to verify whether this was due to his drug use) by the caller and rendered speechless. However, Limbaugh eventually found his tongue and cut the caller off to respond, coincidentally at the exact moment when the caller began to discuss the details of his service.

"Rush refused to allow this Republican Veteran to discuss his service because he realizes the implications of that discussion. A Veteran discussing national security policy has more credibility on the subject than Limbaugh (a draft dodging, drug addicted, blow-harding [sic] purveyer [sic] of the radical conservative anti-troop, anti-Veteran agenda) could ever have. This is why Limbaugh refuses to acknowledge the legitimate views of American Veterans, regardles [sic] of ideology."

Besides a good copy editor, Smith might also benefit from some study of terminology. Limbaugh was not a draft-dodger, which suggests some illegal or unethical avoidance of service. He was classified as 4-F because of a pilonidal cyst. Smith also fails to correctly apprise the condition of Rush's response. Rush was not "speechless" but merely letting the guy have his say, as is his wont, before finally cutting off his drivel in order to keep the audience from changing the channel and defend himself.

If I was reading it right it seems Charles contradicted himself by saying he didn't vote for Obama; then, he said not matter what Obama does Limbaugh will still criticize Obama...
So, is Charles for or against Obama? Danged if I know.

Having listened to Limbaugh for over 20 years, I learned je has a tendency to allow people with diarrhea of the mouth to keep talking in order to show their stupidity. And I think this is the case with Charles.

Plus, I learned that anyone can call themselves a vet. I am retired military and on several occasions talked to "vets" or a better name would be "posers."

Another thing I find totally amusing is how the left throws the "Nazi" bomb toward everybody they disagree with on the right.

I didn't make this up, honest, but the Nazis were the National Socialist Party in Germany. That's right, socialists, and on the political spectrum socialists are on the left.
