In our continuing quest as beer connoisseurs, Steve and I have stocked the fridge again. The common domestic beer is delegated to lower shelves. My favorite is the Winter Lager and the Optimator. The Optimator has a delicious molasses, almost a coffee, taste. I'll have to drink a few more to be sure. Good times.

The two on the left are German beers: Paulaner and Spaten. I drank my first Spaten in Munich during Oktoberfest. And speaking of Oktoberfest, Pat and I went to Oktoberfest on Barksdale Air Force Base last year and had a ball. We are looking forward to this coming year's celebration. At the Barksdale Oktoberfest, they were serving Sam Adams Oktoberfest, which is one of their seasonal beers. Looking forward to that, too.
