Coming to a Neighborhood Near You...

Via the Wall Street Journal: "Attorney General Eric Holder said some detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may end up being released in the U.S. as the Obama administration works with foreign allies to resettle some of the prisoners."

Go read Thomas Joscelyn's article about Ghassan Abdullah al Sharbi in The Weekly Standard and see if this is the guy you'd like for your new neighbor. Maybe the five guys that wrote this document will land in your neighborhood. That's Khalid Shaikh Mohammed pictured left, the guy that said killing those Americans on 9/11 was a "badge of honor." Maybe he'll be your new neighbor. They aren't "enemy combatants" anymore, after all, so what's the problem?

Do you feel safer now?

Released in the US? I didn't know closing down Guantanamo meant releasing imprisoned terrorists wholesale. Holder seems intent to make us not be "cowards" anymore. I'm not sure endangering everybody because of poorly thought out campaign promises is the best way to do it though...

Yes I Can! I can have a warm and fuzzy feeling about all of this. Yes I Can. But why don't I?
